Στο φως της δημοσιότητας ήρθαν τα ονόματα των φιναλίστ για την κλάση του Hall of Fame 2021, με πολλές σπουδαίες προσωπικότητες του μπάσκετ να διεκδικούν μια θέση στο πάνθεον.
Αναλυτικά οι υποψήφιοι: Πολ Πιρς, Κρις Ουέμπερ, Κρις Μπος, Τιμ Χάρνταγουεϊ, Μαρκίς Τζόνσον, Μάικλ Κούπερ, Μπεν Ουάλας, Λορίν Τζάκσον, Μπιλ Ράσελ (ως προπονητής, αφού είναι ήδη μέλος του HoF ως παίκτης ήδη από το 1975), Γιολάντα Γκρίφιθ, Λέτα Άντριους, Ρικ Έιντελμαν και Τζέι Ράιτ.
Η ημερομηνία της τελετής αναμένεται να ανακοινωθεί στις 16 Μαΐου, αμέσως μετά την τελετή για την κλάση του 2020 δηλαδή, που πήγε πίσω λόγω της πανδημίας.
